Our trainees enjoy competitive compensation, a robust health benefits package as well as multiple other employment perks. Please see below for some of the most utilized perks.
MOVING STIPEND
Newly appointed trainees receive up to $2,750 in reimbursement for relocation expenses.
EDUCATIONAL STIPEND
Residents and Fellows receive $1,200 per year. The stipend will be paid out at the beginning of each academic year.
HOUSING
Residents and fellows are eligible for University Housing.
A housing allowance has now been included as part of the Salary Scale for residents and fellows—based on negotiated CBA.
LICENSE REIMBURSEMENT
Interns are eligible for initial PTL application fees as well as PTL to full license reimbursement. Residents and Fellows are eligible for license renewal reimbursement.
CONFERENCE REIMBURSEMENT
Travel to conferences on behalf of the University is eligible for reimbursement according to UC Travel Policy.
USMLE
Interns are eligible for USMLE (United States Medical Licensing Examination) reimbursement.
FERTILITY BENEFITS
Residents and Fellows are eligible for $30k coverage of fertility/infertility benefits (including surrogacy) with NO coinsurance and NO deductible.
MATERNITY LEAVE
8 weeks of paid parental leave for each birth/adoption/foster event.
VACATION TIME
4 weeks per year
ON-SITE GYM
Trainees are eligible to sign up for membership at our onsite gym.
